how come guys think girls can't play basket ball as "great" as them?

i mean, Lisa Leslie, Katie Douglas they're awesome, but how come Kobe Braynt, and Allen Iverson are atomatically better, they may have betta skills, but that doesn't mean everyone has to vido the girls!!

Don't think that's exactly the point. When you get into the higher levels of b-ball. NCAA 1 and NBA, the men are so large and athletic that they play well above the rim. There are just no women that can play at that level.

I was a decent b-ball player in high school, for instance, but at only 5'10 and playing near the floor there would be no place for me. Just like with women b-ballers, they may be very good shooters and ball handlers, they just aren't equiped to play that high or at the speed of todays game.

In order for me to shoot over Greg Oden, for instance, I'd probobly have to have 8-10 foot of separation to get the shot over him. To get that kind of separation, it would take great speed, and even then he'd be incredibly close to blocking the shot. LOL

So, the bottom line is that good b-ball women are just as good and maybe even better than "average " men. LOL It's just that they don't make women who are 6'9 and able to jump out of gyms and run 4.2/40 yard dashes.

Guys are bigger faster more aggresive, so people like to watch them more. Plus there are more guys sports fans than girls. But I wish girls sports would get more attention. Its not far that some girl athletes put just as much time and affort into a sport but will never make the millions that men make by doing the same thing

because like most athletic sports, there based around the male athletic ability like running jumping throwing hitting kicking etc etc and sorry to say but men are more genetically pre disposed to be better at these things. for instance women's legs are angled slightly in ward due to these wider hips and there for have more cases of knee injury when they try to change direction suddenly while running at a high rate of speed. there is allot more i could go into on this subject even the psychological one were both men and women statistically prefer male sports because there raised and some what genetically wired to like to watch men perform athletically than women. anyways have a nice day

The aggressiveness of guys is much higher which is funer to watch. Also people like to see dunks and ally-oops and most girls (with the exception of a few) are capable of doing that, its not just about how much time and effort you put into something, its about pleasing the crowd.

Just because they think they're tougher and stronger and better at sports. i dont get it either. girls can be great too! But i dont think its that true. there are alot of great sport player out there that are girls.
