My family and I are planning to rent a house/condo on Lake Michigan this summer. I would really like some suggestions on where to go and stay. We live in southern Indiana and we don't want too much of a drive so the closer to the Indiana/Michigan border, the better. Thanks!

Hmmm, sorry I almost had an idea until you said you wanted a place near Indiana.
I own a home that I do not use during summer months.
It is 4 bdrms, 2 baths, sunroom, big kitchen, small eating area, large living room. And fully furnished (of course!). My house abuts the Lake, an area called "Bay De Noc" (the bay)...and in town of Escanaba.
There is very little to do there other than swim your heinies off, watch the geese, and other wildlife, up the road is a casino.
I'll let you stay up there for a very nominal fee, just enough to keep the lights on, nothing more.
