No, I was a feral child. They kept me locked in a trunk under their bed. It's amazing how my communications skills have really taken off.

In this day and age parents should be very aware of the friends their children choose.

I was allowed to have friends but I wasnt allowed to have them over at the house

Yes, I was allowed to have as many friends as I wanted.However, they inculcated in me their definition of "friend" . With time and experience, I realized that my description of "friend" could legitimately differ from theirs.

yes but i usually had only one best friend at a time, but other friends at school.

Yes, and even if they didn't, there are 6 kids in my family, so I wouldn't have been lonley.
