She is really smart and has some really mature views on the world but sometimes she is just so irritating! She is kinda weird and geeky and is always trying to be different. i think its good to be unique and all, but she goes to the extreme. She is always trying to prove teachers wrong, she always says the most stupid, weak insults, loves singing in public even though she is really bad, and gets annoyed if i ever get a better grade than her. She is constantly making a fool of herself and always likes the most annoying guys. She makes it so obvious that she likes a certain guy and it always happens to be a guy that really hates her. Sometimes i feel like i just shouldn't be her friend. Sometimes I really want to help her see how annoying she is. What should I do? I don't want to hurt her feelings and i don't want to hate her because she can be really nice. But sometimes i just can't stand her. No silly answers please. Thanks! ^__^

I have talked to her about it and she just laughs and says"yep, I'm just that weird!" I've told her the truth and told her about her good qualities but she always just laughs as if everything I say is a joke.

That's tough, try talking to her about her problems dont critize or make it seem like your jumping on her. Be honest with her and if she's really your friend she will understand. Also try finding good things about her and not always looking at the negative. Accept her for who she is of you're really her friend and if not dont pretend to be. Good Luck with that.

The truth does hurt, but it will set you free. Talk to her about the situations and encourage her to find some really good qualities about her. I understand that you don't want to hurt her feelings and you do care about her, but the best thing for you to do is to tell her the truth. If she was the kind of friend that knows that you care about her, she will listen to you and take your advice into consideration. If not, at least you know what kind of person she is. I hope my advice helps you. Best of luck.

The truth is, it is REALLY hard to change who somebody is. You can't expect her to change if she's been that way all her life. That's just who she is. Either except it or not, that's your choice not mine. If she's really so annoying that it makes you question your friendship, than tell her. If she doesn't listen, it most likely means she doesn't care. Don't waste your time with someone who doesn't care about what your opinions are.

Sounds like you'll have to hurt her feelings if you want to help her see how annoying she is! You can't have it both ways! She has a very big inferiority complex.

just tell her how you feel. the truth hurts sometimes , but it's alot better than lying to her , and keeping your true emotions hidden!

Tell her to "tone it down a notch". "Don't be so hyper"
