There are no relevant answers to your question. Our body only sleeps when we have our eyes closed. And dreams happen by having our brain working actively while we sleep.
And why would you keep your eyes open? Your eyes will hurt if you keep them open forever. Unless if you daydream of course like everyone suggested.

I ran a survey of over 100 women and men a few years back and it was overwhelmingly determined from that small sample audience that women keep their eyes closed during sex while men keep theirs open. Weird, but that is what happens in most situations according to my research. It seems that it's involuntary.
And I think this question was directed towards sex and then backed off to avoid a Violation from the Gestapo.

No, at least i dont think so. all i know is when you are sleeping your eyes are a little bit open, and someone might think your a little bit awake but too tired to get out of bed!

Isn't this somewhat synonymous with an oxymoron? Not unless you sleep with your eyes open by chance.
