Would the newest Dragon Rider be able to conquer the "Boy Who Lived" or would Harry slay Saphira and the farm boy? Both have magic and the magic they both have is limited. So lets say that Eragon and Harry duel it out, both have their magical abilities and everything. Just remember that Harry outrode a dragon on broomstick, but Eragon has killed many Urgals (which I'm sure are more of a challenge than Harry, maybe?) So give Harry his broom and his wand and give Eragon Saphira and Zarroc (and his knowledge of the ancient language). Who would come out on top?

Eragon has two books currently and Harry has 6 currently. I am referring to the book characters, not the movies.
Eragon and Harry dukin' it out in a mixture of both their worlds this way it's about even.

Also, dont forget that Harry must have a wand in order to cast spells, and he must say/think the correct word and do the correct motion with his wand.
Eragon on the other hand just has to think the word and can easily pump into Harry's mind.

I think that Harry is more mature and controlled than Harry (at least a bit) so he would win. Eragon doesn't always have the best relationship with Saphira and he isn't exactly product of seven years training and duels with the world's most powerful evil wizard. Also, HArry must be more nimble than a boy on a big huge dragon, so he can still avoid him. Though Eragon is stronger (being a farm boy) Harry's abilities are more versatile. Question, though- whose world would it be in? Harry would be the no duh winner in a city or somewhere else populated (where the dragon would bump into things) but Eragon knows the land better in ALagaesia.
Who do you think would win?
EDIT: Oh, oops, I forgot that Eragon was immortal! That's no fair! Well, actually, is he? Wasn't he just a human with elvish qualities or something? HArry would still win. He would make a Horcrux or something. Yeah, that's it. But wait, who said that it was a fight to the death?
And if it is a fight about the books, as some people are making it, I believe that Harry Potter has more fans than Eragon, so they would help him in his time of need. Whether you're fond of HP or not, the whole bestseller thing can't be wrong! Plus the plagiarism accusation list is shorter for HP than for Eragon.

Thats tough cause thats two different kinds of magic.
Eragon dosent need a wand and can see what you're thinking. Harry can do stronger spells, cause he wont kill himself with magic, if he does a spell thats to hard for him the most that'll happen is he can't do it.
Eragon has Saphira, she has big claws and can breathe fire. Harry's got Ron, Hermione, Neville, Luna, Sirius, Arthur, Molly, Fred & Gorge, Bill, Charlie, Hagrid, Lupin, exc......Though none of them have big claws or breathe fire, they're always there for him.
Eragon's had about one year of training with the Elves. Harry's had 6 yrs of schooling with experienced witches and wisards.
Eragon flies on Saphira. Harry flies on his Firebolt. Firebolt's faster.
Eragon's got Murtaugh. Harry's got Malfoy. (I think Malfoy and Murtaugh will both turn out good!)
Eragon's cousin is Roran =D. Harry's cousin is Dudley =(.
Eragon and Harry both don't remember their parents.
Eragon's got Zaroc. Harry's got his wand.
I'm a bigger fan of Harry Potter then Eragon. So I'll say Harry'll come off better in the fight. lol, that was amusing!
Thanx!!

Eragon. Reading all of the Harry Potter books is a waste of time. I read books #1-#4 and it was pretty boring. Just one book is good enough than like 8 books.
