Warm up, stretch a lot your arms, legs and torso, at this age I would junk the slider, and take it easy on the split, work on your location with your fastball and change. If you are lucky as your hands get bigger and you grow you will be able to impart movement on your fast ball and change with out the violent twisting that comes with the slider or regular curve. It also depends on how you throw sidearm, do you sling it up there or are you more over the top to 3/4. Sidearm can has a tendency to put more stress on the elbow and shoulder than over the top.
Also if you are serious about baseball, quit football, maybe play basketball if you want a second sport or tennis or cross country.
And one last thing do not take any of this seriously, every answer is just advice do what you feel like doing, within reason, and just enjoy the games you play.

Throwing the fastball won't hurt. But don't throw the breaking balls. Use those in situations. Like in a 0-2 count. Throw a fastball twice. Then throw a knucklecurve, changeup, or a slider.

Nope. One bad throw of a pitch can ruin youre season. Being a QB is the same as being a pitcher, they both have risks. Chose Wisely.

At your age, the only pitches you should be throwing are fastballs. You should never, NEVER even try to throw any type of a breaking pitch until the growth plates in your arm have closed. That something that can only be determined by a doctor, with the help of x-rays or other medical imaging.
Your coach needs to be taken to the proverbial woodshed for allowing you to throw breaking pitches.

I would not throw anything that twists the elbow. Rather use pitches where you just have to change finger position. Look at johan best pitcher in base ball uses primarily a fastball and change up and dominates hitters. Get you fastball fast and your change up motion and speed solid and you will be fine the curve is over rated look at zito.

Just be sure to always warm up that arm before playing either sport. Also be sure to excercise that arm everyday..just throwing naturally..and lifting weights..but dont over do it ! I know that sounded contridictive. Basically keep your arm toned up..dont go into a game with a cold arm...that's when it might hurt. Say you pitch for 4 innings and your arm starts to hurt..tell the coach..dont feel that you have to continue. If you set up a work-out each day..you should be able to build up the endurance of that arm and be able to pitch for longer. As long as you keep your arm toned..it should not affect your playing football or vice versa Good luck to you.

All those pitches are safe except for maybe the knuckel curve. I had a pitching coach who told me not to throw a curve yet and i was 14. But if you know how to throw the curve the right way and have proper mechanics it should be fine. You just dont want to overwork your arm and wear it down

Be careful about the amount of breaking balls you throw. In the long run, they could damage your arm.
