Yes, there are spiders that can eat small lizards, such as geckos and anoles. I've seen Golden Argiopes(Argiope aurantica), Black Crevice Spiders(Kukulcania hibernalis)and Golden Silk Spiders(Nephila clavipes), all native to the Southeastern US, kill small lizards and eat them. With the Argiopes and Nephila, the lizards got caught in their webs, but the Kukulcanias are ambush hunters, who just run out and grab anything small enough to overpower, and that includes the occasional young anole. I'm sure that our large Carolina Wolf Spiders, which can reach nearly four inches in diameter, would have no problem tackling a small lizard or even a small mouse, though I have not personally seen this. The large non-native Huntsman spiders(Heteropoda venatora), found in Florida and across into Texas, also readily make meals of small vertebrates, including lizards and snakes. Almost any adult tarantula species would certainly be capable of eating a lizard; I have some specimens that have eaten pre-killed adult mice or small rats, so a lizard would definately be no problem!
As for garden insects, yes, there are some which are toxic to spiders and other predators, including Bombadere beetles, many ant species(which spray acid), Chafer beetles, and some others. Spiders seem to know these insects, though, and will instinctively remove it from their webs if one gets caught, rather than trying to eat it. Bees sometime manage to sting spiders to death if the spider is careless when trying to attack it, and of course, there are some wasps who specialize in hunting spiders and paralyzing them with the sting, so they can lay eggs on the still-living spider's body, and their grubs can hatch and eat the spider-alive!

I see lizards caught in spider webs from time to time here in Florida, at first you think, "Well, that's funny." but after the struggle ends, the spider runs out and wraps it up, and that's usually a sign of being a meal eventually. This is not about the size of the spider, it's about the strength of it's web and the potency of it's venom and yes, ALL spiders are venomous. As for insects that would be poisonous to spiders, most likely only if that insect had survived being exposed to pesticides... and a few more insects had survived being exposed to pesticides and eaten by the same spider.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Well, I don't think so. Not all spiders contain poison though, but it depends on the environment. There shouldn't be any insects that have poison that's lethal to spiders, as we'd be warned every night to watch out for them! :) You must really hate spiders.

yes there are many spiders that live out there that eat lizards but Iam not entirely sure what they are called or where they come from. but these spiders are big and don't prey on big lizards like iguanas or bearded dragons. they prey on things like small geckos and baby lizards.
