to solve this i have found if i read the news few magazines check a couple movies even reviews read a book or review have kids dont have kids to name a few i always bring my host or hostess a small gift for inviting me just grab a drink whatever u prefer non alcoholic for me mingle introduce myself keep smiling and b myself no matter what even comments about the weather what u look forward to in the coming seasons i find its better to know alittle not b an expert in everything heck thats half the fun meeting new folks with shared interests sports books movies famous folks and if all this fails folks love to talk about themselves Good Luck ur on ur way to success simply because ur willing to try
