Is that mean if I print 3000 pages, it will use 5% of the toner?

5% coverage means 5% of the printable area is covered with ink/toner. When you consider a printed page, very little toner is actually used. 5% is about your typical text page with a small picture.

In other words, it'll give you up to 3000 pages, in "normal" use. Printing a lot of pictures, bold text, black background, and such, and the calculations will be off. But it's an estimate any way.

It will print 3000 pages on letter or A4 size paper at 5% of the page covered with toner. That could be either letters or picture.
