What game should I buy, Oblivion or Crackdown? Both have good open-ended sandbox style gameplay. I heard you can get a lot of hours out of Oblivion, but I heard the Co-op for Crackdown is amazing, and a lot of my friends have it. So which one is better?

Oblivion. It's one of the best games that came out in the past 3 years or so. It is not only a detailed world offering over 100 hours of gameplay, but also an extremely fun game for those who aren't even into RPGs. I hear Crackdown is pretty good, but it's way out of its league when compared to TES4.

omg omg ok. it might be a little biased cuz u could say im a "fanboy" for oblivion. but ill try to give both ends

ok if u like the old mid evil theme to things (epic) get oblivion with no questions. i just love that stuff. swords and power metal and omg =] =].

it has great open ended gameplay and with rad story and whatever

now my friend has crackdown. and he beat it in a weekend... i dislike games like that. and well coop is fun if u have a freind with ya

personaly id go with oblivion.

both are good games of course

ooo and oblivion has a greater depth in the rpg elements.. if that matters to ya

hope it helped =\
