Africa is a huge continent... some parts are better off, but some aren't.

Some parts are still colonized, for instance, Morocco has invaded Western Sahara, and the government of Sudan is brutally repressing a lot of people who want independence.

Kicking out the European governments doesn't mean the colonial period is over.
