how did the band Megadeth get its name? I'm a fan of the band but no one seems to know how thay got ther name

Singer Dave Mustaine saw a gov't pamphlet which mentioned megadeath and made a slight change to the spelling. A megadeath is a military term for one million dead.

A 'megadeath' means more than one million dead in military terms. Dave Mustaine adopted this name. Cool, isn't it? I love them too.
