The back tyre on my scooter has gone totally flat and it wont pump back up, i don't think it's punctured the air is going straight out round the rim where it's supposed to seal. Can i pump it up somehow?

Yes. The tyre forms an airtight seal around the wheelrim. But its its totally lat you should make sure its not punctured first. If so maybe use that stuff that seals bike tyres when punctured? Its like goo that you stuff inside the tube / tyre.

Yes you need to get the weight off the tire so it will not separate from rim then while air is pumping into tire push in on center of tire with your hand forcing edges against rim until it starts to fill. If you have a belt or luggage strap you can put this around center of tire to hold it to rim, remove belt when tire starts to fill.

Some of those tires are almost impossible to air up without a special inflatable tube the shops put around them to spread the bead. Take it to a bike shop and part with $10.

Trying to get the bead of the tire to seat in the rim can be tricky.

Lift the rear tire off the ground. (milk crate?)
Remove the inner valve stem core.
Blast air into it realy fast and jiggle the tire around to get the bead to seat.
