I want to play on my schools varsity football team. I weigh 215lbs. and i bench 185 lbs. but i can also do 200 but i can not do that a lot. And i can do the forty in about 5.0-5.4 seconds.

definitely do some work on that forty time. get your weight up a little, hit the weights some more, improve stamina, and you'll probably make a good size/speed linebacker. if d is not your thing, fullback like others suggest is another good one. i wouldn't try for safety at this time. but yeah, definitely work on your speed/quickness. on the field speed/quickness is far more important than clocked times. if you can perform quickly on the field, you should be fine.

You need to work on your 40 time and get it under 5 seconds if you want to play corner or reciever. I think if you got it around 5 seconds youd be a really good back. Linebackers need to be fast in some defense schemes. I think your best bet would be defensive end or a nose tackle if you did not work on your speed at all.

Pretty good size for a HS player. If you could get your 40 time down a couple of tenths and kept your weight in check, you'd be perfect for linebacker. Work on your strength, speed and agility.....you'll be surprised how much quicker, faster and stronger you can get when you really put your mind to it. If you can catch the ball, there's always tight end.

SS/FS, LB, TE, or DE. I was the same weight, but lifted more, and played 3 of the 4 positions above. I usually played slot receiver on running plays too

You sound like a defensive end unless you can get faster. If you can get your 40 under 5.0 you could be a good linebacker, if you can get it under 4.8 tight end or safety is possible.

You need to work on your speed...Try and get your fourty under 5.0 and I beleive if you have the will to play..with your size i would say Linebacker and Fullback...or possibly tight end if you can catch...

Defensive Tackle or Defensive End

On a high school team, lineman would be the best position. Defensive line, or offensive line is up to you.

Maybe a defensive back, linebacker or, if your short enough, a running back, depending on what your couch is looking for.
