Yes. Many people change their careers to teaching so many universities have programs for those who hold bachelors in other fields to earn their teaching certificates. Many of the programs are "fast track" or just get your Masters in Education.

Yep. I know a few people who had business/accounting degrees and got jobs as computer teachers. If you find it difficult to get your foot in the door in your area, offer to be the adviser of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) for the school.

you can probably teach economics in high school and get an alternate license

elementary you prob do need some sort of fast track degree of Teach for America and some programs can place you into a school while you take classes.

I'm pretty sure you can, but you will have to take additional "methods" classes in how to teach if you are teaching in elem, I think.Check with the state you are looking to teach in or contact a university in that state the has elem ed degree es.
