Average temperature 13°C / 57°F.
Average low temp 8°C / 48°F
Average high temp 18°C / 65°F
Rains approximately 1 day out of 2.

Conditions can vary, sometimes you can got hot, dry weather in September but at other times it can be cold and wet. It's one of those inbetween months that's neither summer or winter.

As for what food to bring - nothing really as London has a very diverse range of shops and markets catering for every possible taste. There are many vegetarian and vegan foodshops and specialist shops selling food from just about any country you could think of. Check out some of the markets, not just for food but clothes, gifts etc.

I don't know about the food, but I can tell you that when I went to London a year ago, I been there for 3 weeks and it rained only 3 times..guess you can say I was lucky..I went 18th september to somewhere in the first week of October... it wasn't sunny everyday but we still got warm weather.. in the first week, we were walking around in our t-shirts and jeans...yep pretty good memories about that trip.

Perfect. I visited the first week of September last year and was comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt most of the time. Only rained once.
