Gore is The 12th Imam.
I've heard a lot of good about this article, excellent choice. Environmentalism is becoming a religion. Liberal politics seems like a religion. The danger here is that the two most important issues of today is the war on terror, and global warming. One has clear evidence and the other specious. Global warming - that is, man is prime mover - has become an international smoke screen for the war. The masses prefer to worry over nothing than to worry about something that is clearly a present danger.
Maybe Gore is the Anti-Christ. What is the 12th Imam?

I think it can be, when it is taken to unreasonable extremes. When people cannot differentiate between the importance of a tree and human life, for example.
Nothing against nature, but environmentalists have produced really wacky policies. Take a look at Southwest Florida, where miles of property cannot be developed because of a bird.

Since it requires great amounts of faith instead of real facts to back up a lot of their claims it definitely meets the criteria. I just hope they never get tax exempt status.
