You can excel in music and become popular if you do meditation for an hour daily through the process of self -realization in three months to two years. You should be getting positive results within two weeks of doing meditation.

If singing is truly your passion, then go for it. There's nothing to lose. I think that if you work really hard than you can be a singer. It all depends on how bad you want it though.
