Its assonance and here's why. Assonance is Resemblance or similarity in sound between vowels followed by different consonants in two or more stressed syllables. Assonance differs from RHYME in that RHYME is a similarity of vowel and consonant.

assonance. alliteration is when the first letter of each word is the same eg.. slimy slug.
assonance is more compilcated. it means the same sound in the middle of each word...its hard to explain but the answer to your question is that it is assonance.
