you dont, you have to put the wep key into the settings of the router, try putting 192.168.1.1 into the address bar of your IE, and put as username :Admin or admin and as password: Admin or admin then when you are into the settings go to security in there somewhere is a place to enter the wep key

open up the program that goes with it
you should have a screen for profiles - edit the one you are using and you should have security options - select WEP or WPA (whichever you want to use) and you should be able to enter the network key (don't forget to save the profile)
