Why won't our government release the scores of surveillance films that captured the Pentagon attack?

Instead, they released the crappiest Seven Eleven conveniece store quality footage that depicted 3 inconclusive frames. There was a camera on the top of the hotel, across the highway, that captured the whole attack with a wide-angle view. Out government says that they can't release the other footage for "National Security purposes." Their answer is absurd. The 9/11 Truth Movement has grown into the millions. If the government wants to stop all of this conspiracy nonsense, just release the films!

Golden, you have not answered my question. Why won't they release the stinking films? That one act would put an end to ALL of this 9/11 conspiracy stuff! If the 9/11 Truth movement is so undermining to the "war on terror," why won't they release the footage?

Well no one but the government can answer that.

It certainly raises suspicion that in addition to the pentegon cameras there were three independent cameras... a hotel, state highway, and a gas station across the street. ALL of these videos were confiscated within minutes of the event. It makes you wonder what is it they don't want us to see..

Who in the government said that? Where is the link to this information? The hotel you mention, is it a Marriot Hotel? Post a link to your proof and not a link to wikipedia or one of your other left wing sites!

As per the link you added to the pentagon. I read it. I have also been an air traffic controller at ZDC (WARTCC) in Leesburg, Virginia. You're trying to say that the A/C could of not been a B-757. That this type of A/C could not perform this type of maneuverability from 7000 feet to hitting the pentagon in 2 and a half minutes while performing a 270 degree turn due to the G Force. Wrong. Equations show that a 270 degree spiral from 7000 feet would of produced about on half G force. A/C is rated at well over 2 G's. With the Radar Altimeters, GPS monitors and fly by wire systems, the 757 was capable of hitting the pentagon.

This is their typical m.o...they are still holding security tapes from at least fifteen security cameras from the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.

Even without the security tapes there is an overwhelming body of evidence that anyone looking at objectively with common sense shows 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB. The only defense from the establishment, including the media, is to appeal to peoples emotions and label anyone who questions the official story as an un-American "conspiracy nut"...a technique perfected by Herman Goering in 1930's Nazi Germany.

The origin of the 9/11 Truth Movement is the families of the victims who have never had their questions answered and who were not impressed with the official cover-up in the "9/11 Co-Conspirators/Commission Report". People are still in denial and do not want to face the facts...this is by design. Why do you think every major media outlet bombarded us with the images they did combined with the official story line those first 48 hours? Simple it was to inflict such emotional trauma on the population that they would not want to look too closely at the events of that day...ever.

I know I've seen the process at work in my own brother...whenever I tried to show him any truth movement movies he simply could not look at the images, his emotions would overwhelm him and he would retreat into the version he was bombarded with those first 48 hours. Eventually he became aware of this connection and was able to control it enough to start to look at the events in a more objective light.

Your question is excellent, common sense dictates that when evidence is hidden or withheld, there is something to hide. I certainly don't but the national security purposes crap. The Government probably does want to stop it, but since they really do have something to hide, the evidence that we want to see would incriminate them. So they resort to trying to discredit us any way they can, without actually proving anything, or honestly answering our legitimate questions. You had several really good answers to this question, but one even went so far as to explain why some people won't even look at the evidence that we have. This helps me to understand a little bit better, how people can actually fall for the official story, and get angry at us for the questions that we ask and want answers too! *sm*
