Situation I want as the Raiders supporter (Not a fan)
1. Randy Moss gets traded to some place for some good O linemen...
2. The Raiders sign with David Carr... (if he wants to play with the Raiders)
3. Draft Calvin Johnson (This guy is natural)...
4. Get Jeremy Stevens... I think the Seahawks let him go or something...
5. WIn
Also, they don't really need to worry about the defense. Cuz Warren Sapp who might retire still shows good performances (10 sacks as a DT that is very hard), and as team, they came in 3 for opponant's ypg...
I don't the Raiders will worry about money cuz there are some die hard Raiders fans out there watching every Raiders' games...

They would be STUPID not to take Russell the QB. What other QBs do they have on the team? A. Walter?? They should have picked Matt Leinart last draft. He was solid and will only get better with experience in Arizona. If they keep Moss, why pick Calvin Johnson?? I think Russell will be just like D. Cullpepper. He is HUGE with a big arm. The only knock on Dante is he is injury prone. If he was healthy every year he would be a Pro Bowler every year and still on the Vikings.....
Well the Raiders are not the smartest team so I would not be surprised if they did not take a QB.

They'll most likely draft Jamarcus Russell although they do like Calvin Johnson. The Raiders should draft a quarterback. I think that Brady Quinn is the best quarterback in the draft and that they should draft him. But that's just my opinion.

Simple Answer: Calvin Johnson
Proof: Al Davis does whatever he wants. The Raiders will address their need at qb before the draft possibly by Carr or Culpepper (imagine Culpepper ruined with Moss again). Al Davis loves this kid and he doesn't like to draft quarterbacks in the first round. He knows that they can be a total bust (just like i think Russell will be). The new coach Kiffin has shown so far that he is dedicated to the running game. By signing Rhodes, Griffith and Newberry. Look for them to bee up their OL in the second round and later rounds.

the raiders definitely need a qb and jamarcus russell is the best available. if they don't draft russell they need to find some way to pick up david carr or do anything they can to get a qb cause that is their most pressing need. they should NOT draft brady quinn. quinn is a decent qb, but he is not the person you want to rebuild a team around. he simply doesn't have the confidence to take on that task. he's easily rattled, not good for a rookie qb who will most likely be the starter if not immediately then in a couple of games in oakland.

I think they should and will draft Jamarcus Russell. One they did have enough sense to release Aaron Brooks. That sets them up to either trade for or draft a QB. Plus they already have two talented WRs in Randy Moss and Jerry Porter.

They seriously need to draft Russel. They cant afford going through the season with multiple QBs who have no idea what they are doing. Calvin Johnson will probobly go to the Lions.

If they get Carr, then Johnson and draft a Qb later otherwise Russell because Qb is the weakest spot on their team.
