I am currently 19 weeks pregnant and taking my prenatal, cal-nate. I currently do not take any other supplements, but I was wondering if taking a low dose vitamin E supplement would be acceptable?

My doctor is an old timer who has very "old school" values, I was just wondering if anyone has gone throught he same thing or anything similar. Thank you!

Just stick to what your doctor/midwife has put you on huni. They know best, and thats why they've put you on the supplement that you're taking at the moment. If you really feel you want to take another supplement then talk to your midwife first so she can give you the best advice. Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy and birth :) x

I would stick with the prenatal vitamin and nothing more unless your doctor tells you to take more. The prenatals have more of some vitamins in them to help maintain a healthy pregnancy. You didn't say why you think taking a vitamin E supplement is necessary. Overdoing the vitamins can be dangerous--you have a fragile child growing inside of you. If you are concerned about not getting enough vitamins--eat as healthy as you can--good carbs, whole grains, fruits, veggies, lean protein.

I could now not recollect Vitamin Water a substitute. You will need to drink extra Vitamin water as your hydration supply on the grounds that the water is bonded to synthetic flavorings, colours, and so forth. If you fairly 'hate' water, take a look at including lemon and/or lime to supply it a few taste. But filtered water is by way of a long way the nice water you'll be able to drink.

Check with your doctor.
