I don't ask this to provoke anybody (or I would have posted it in Religion & Sprituality.) It's a fact that some of them were murderous, but I can't remember their names. Perhaps a good world historian could lend a hand.

This one is really a two sided sword here as it is hard to tell.
Pope Alexander VI
AKA Rodrigo Borgia
He is said to be the founder of what we now call the mafia. He is responsible for the unification of the papal states. And through his son Caesar slaughtered people left and right.

Second on this list would have to be
Pope Boniface VIII
AKA Benedetto Caetani
He is the man responsible for the termination of the Templar Knights. With a papal bull in 1302. He ordered the slaughter of over 30,000 knights on the 13th of October. Hence why we now consider Friday the 13th an unlucky day.

I vote for Innocent III. He launched the fourth crusade, which destroyed 2 christian kingdoms, including the eastern Roman empire. He also launched the Cathar crusade, which was extremely ugly and brutal against fellow Christians.
