Check with the state employment office...the same office that helps you if you have lost your job. They have many seminars, counselors, etc. to help with this type of thing.
Think about what you love to do the most. Then think of how you can apply that to a working situation.
The best employee is a happy one & you will be the happiest, not for the highest salary, but for doing what you love to do.
Google under job counseling, etc.

Parent, peers and tv, the creators of our self image and self image reflect self esteem.
No direction comes from the subconscious assumption(as is all sub/c beliefs) of low value and that always comes from upbringing, it didn't even have to be a bad one.
New direction comes from the conscious mind.
I believe you're just assuming everything based on what is or was and it'll always be the same, dull, disapointing etc.. What about what could be?
The answer is to do lots of different things regardless of any interest and see what you do like.
There may be some form of deprerssion in there too, go to your doctors now, most people don't even realise they are depressed, it just seems "normal".
Depression or even boredeom isn't who you are, it's the state you're in at the moment, like a channel on a tv set. It's the channel, not the tv. Change the channel with action.
Stop thinking and start doing.
We all forget the our minds decide what is good in reality only after the experience, everything else is supposition from old experiences. If they were bad or even just dull or empty experiences, the mind(sub/c) already has an opinion(from experience=programming) of what is true, good bad etc...
It's all assumption though. Ever tried some food you weren't sure of and ended up liking it?
So that's life. Go waterskiing, hangliding, play chess and a billion other things too. You don't have to do what you always did.
Scared of trying? me too, so is everyone else, SO!!! I'll bet everyone was terrified of passing their driving test too. But they weren't afterwards.
Ya gotta DO IT first and decide after, fear is usually just the assumption you either can't handle the outcome, or forget it's all part of learning and then the outcome(assuming it's benign) is ok.
Replace "should" with "want" and then "want" with "will" when you think to yourself.
In short DO IT, stay legal of course but DO IT, life that is.

Save up some money and spend some time in a cheap exotic foreign country.
It will give you something to look forward to while you save up the money.
When you are there it will be such a culture shock you won't have time to wonder about the meaning(lessness) of life.
A mate of mine quit his job and went off to South America. Someone else I know is in Thailand. Doesn't matter where you go really, just get out of that rut.
India is pretty mindblowing as well.
You can live in these countries pretty cheaply, a few dollars/pounds a day for food and accommodation.
All the best.

no-----you're not "just here", just because you're not in a "profession" this does not mean that you don't contribute to society. who said-----------------in life that having 10 different jobs is a bad thing. i know people that remain with 1 or 2 and hate it, are they better off. nope. at least you have the guts to keep searching, believe it or not that's an attribute and damn good one that will serve you well. keep trying new things and remember that the biggest contribution to this world is your whole self not just what you do from 9-5. influence just some 0NE hopefully more than that just once (positively) and your doing what you here born to do and this goes for every soul walking around, I'd say good luck but it's really not required, if you know what is good and what is wrong in this world------------well that all of back ground that you need to get through life and do it well!

Hi Danny,
Just so you know there is someone who feels the same or I should say felt the same until I took up Thai Boxing. As a nightclub manageress I felt I needed some self defence and also to get fitness levels up. When I first started training I felt really misplaced and not really keen but kept it up. After about 6 months I began to actually enjoy my classes and after 11 years can finally say I have found my vocation in life and have changed career to personal trainer and finally feel life is worth living, now look forward to getting up in the morning. So don't automatically write things off because you don't like the sound of them we all have hidden talents its just harder for some of us to find them. Good Luck xxxxxxx

I feel the same. I am now 28, and am totally stuck in a rut. I got an honours degree, but it did me no good and I still don't know what I want to do. I am working with muppets with no qualifications who will be doing the same thing forever, but I want more. I didn't go to uni to work with muppets all my life.
Anyway, rant over. I know how you feel.

Does nothing excite you at all ? You must listen to music or watch TV, read books or comics. No matter how hard you should find a dream to follow.

Get a past life regression done! It's done through hypnosis and gives you a window into who you were in a past life as well as unfinished buisness and feelings. It has been proven that once you experience this, you find your purpose in being here.
