My science teacher set me this homework, please, I need your advice....'You are the sole survivor of an aeroplane crash in the Himalayas, it is freezing but there is bright sunlight. You desperately need to defrost a Mars bar to survive. You have: a polished piece of metal, a piece of string, a sheet of white paper, and a frozen Mars bar. How will you survive?!'

Yep...that answer sounds about right. The reflection of the sun off the metal will create heat...the string...maybe to hang the mars bar or metal somehow? I'm thinking the white paper is more than just a platform for the mars bar however....mmmmm....chocolate!

And just some trivia for your teacher...the UV rays are much harsher up there...I got burnt even with sunscreen on up there!

Put the mars bar under your arm to warm it up.Or use the piece of metal to catch the suns rays and direct the sun onto the Mars bar.

You stick the mars bar in your pocket and use the polished bit of metal as a signaling mirror to alert search and rescue teams of your location.

put the mars bar in your pocket. it will defrost so u can eat it. use metal to flash and get attention, if u have pen use paper to write final letter home, and the string to fix holes in your boots.
