On avergae they are bigger, therefore stronger, but a better fighter and more aggressive!
Siberian Tigers are not aggressive, so an African Lion would do better with them.
In fact, Siberian Tigers fought so badly with the African Lion in fights that people replaced them with Bengal Tigers in Rome or somewhere, but I remember reading that.
Remember, tigers can hit with 400-500 pounds of force with one hit!!!

The adult bengal tiger is on average bigger and stronger than the adult african lion.

how can they be evenly matched if the tiger is bigger smarter stronger ,has bigger hindquarters ,stronger fore quarters ,and they are very brave ,they would even attack an elephant
lions dont ,they are panzies and cowards inferior beings compared to Tigers especialy the rare mongolian brunsknuckle tiger which is 3 meters tall and has hindquarters the size of a buffalo.and this can jump an 8 meter fence carying an elephant

actually the siberian tigers are the biggest cats, not the bengals. bengals are a bit smaller than african lions, my bet would be on the lion winning the fight. lions are made to fight, tigers are more sneaky, so a lion would win in a fair fight, the tiger would win if it snuck up on the lion.

the bengal tiger is bigger, stronger and fiercer than an african lion....assuming they are of the same age.
