He'll play at least one more season. He's still too good and in too good of shape not to play, plus, you can still see that competitive fire inside him. Clemens is the best pitcher of my lifetime, maybe ever .

Regretably, i think of he did mislead Congress. Petitte is a guy of stable character who claims Clemens did use steroids/HGH. i don't think of he might intentionally attack Clemens' character because of the fact they are definitely considered acquaintances.Petitte is a ethical guy, a Christian, who refused to not tell the fact. From his testimony, it truly is extremely in all possibility that Roger did use and did so for some seasons. Jose Canseco claims Clemens did not use. i does not evaluate him an extremely stable character witness. If convicted, Roger will bypass to reformatory for six months, and that's it. The worst punishment won would be to not be voted into the HOF. think of a 7-time Cy youthful winner not interior the corridor? What a poor legacy to bypass away for followers everywhere.

I don't think he retires, but it is very much up in the air who he goes to. Roger is the type that likes to ride in on a big horse and save the day. So he might see the Astros struggling and rush in. However, he might still go the other way and run to the Yankees or Sox if he thinks he can get another ring. No matter what he plays a half season.

At this stage I've pretty much had a belly full of Roger Clemens. He seems to want everyone to bend over backward for him yet doesn't seem to care about anyone but himself. I've been a fan of his since his Longhorn days but this primadonna attitude is wearing thin with everyone.

He won't retire. He'll wait for the 3 teams (Red Sox, Astros, Yankees) and see where there are as far as wins-losses. He will most likely pick the team with the best chance of winning the championship.

I could care less. He's a icon in his own mind and is starting to abuse it. What makes him so special that he can't do Spring Training like all the other players which he got out of by stalling? I would not sign him. He's far too full of himself at this point as if he's the messiah of baseball. What an ego.

He's arguably the best pitcher in the last 20 years. I'm tired of his indecision too. He's retired pretty much every year since his last year with the Yanks. I remember hearing him "retire" during the World Series. Next thing I know, he signs with my 'Stros. Every year since, he's "retired" to spend more time with his family.

Hes like Micheal Jordan... He in, then out, then in again...
@ this point i reall y don't care if he comes back or not...
If he comes back they will give him Milllions and millions to pitch half a season then its back to the drawing board for next year....
the Yanks should just invest on some more young players and think of the future...

i think that not only has roger made this circus also the teams that are after him. he is able to ask for all the money that he is asking because he is so good and because they are teams that will always want him in their team even though it's only for a few months.

Dead boring. Next he'll want to pitch only home Sundays against sub-.500 teams and be carried out to the mound by women dressed as harem girls.
