Folks, the British Marines were in Iraqi Territory after all. It was an act of war to abduct those marines. Day by day we will see more problems. These activities are leading to something....

China once held american piolits captive for a while after their spy plane crashed in Chinese territory. We didn't go to war over this, because of the way both sides handled the conflict. I don't know the situation with these troops, but I imagine Iran doesn't want to give the US or Britian any reason to invade it. I imagine it will be a drawn out political mess trying to get the troups back, probably a couple weeks worth of talks.

THE WORD "CAPTURE" IS THE KEY. The Brits were in Iranian waters. The same thing would have happened if the Iranians were in Brit waters.
An "act of war"? Why? If the Brits were there, they were there. None of us really knows. The Iranians have a right to protect their own just as the Brits do. Stop beating the war drums. We have enough to worry about in the region.

One of the News channels (FOX or CNN) had on the author of
the book "Living in Hell" --> Ghazal Omid.
She is an articulate lady who said that the crackpot president of Iran will NEED WAR to stay respected in power. He has pledged his life toward that goal. He will keep trying if this ploy does not work...and YES the siezure of a UK ship & crew is an act of war.
If the UK & USA give him what he wants, we will suffer for it.
He has home field advantage and is surrounded by friends. We are getting our rear ends kicked in Afghanistan & Iraq. Let's hope a war is not iminent!

It is without a doubt an act of war.
It is time someone turned Iran into the worlds largest sheet of glass.

If not, I don't know what is.
Lets see the UK left spin this one and say how the poor peace loving Iranians are just fighting back against "Bush the Devil".

i'm not so specific it grew to become into. the reality that it grew to become into against a particular individual and not the final public shows some kind of interior political motivation or punishment for a undesirable deal.

It might have been an act of war by Britain. We don't know the facts yet.
