I haven't actually met one, but I have seen two....the first was a small boy in stripey blue pyjamas and had red hair and freckles, (who was witnessed also by others so I found out later) wandering around an old house I once stayed at. Apparently research was done and it was discovered he had died of pneumonia over 80 years before.
The second was a man standing in the corner of a room in another house I once rented. He had a long jacket on, was wearing a brimmed hat and carrying a shotgun. He vanished after about 10 seconds of me watching him (and yes I was a little nervous). - Then 2 weeks later I found out that a man had blown his brains out with a shot gun in the house 2 years earlier....and after learning this I discovered the evidence of where the pellets had entered the ceiling, and bleach stains on the carpet. 100% true!!!

I woke up at 3 am one morning an looked toward the door. There was a figure that looked terrified he was holding his hand to his face and pointing behind me. I looked behind me towards the window, then looked back at the aparition and he was gone. When I got to the spot where i saw him, it was very cold, I searched the whole house and found a closet to be very cold also. When you do see one, you will never forget it. I can still feel the coldness in the room and the tingle up my neck from my encounter. That was almost 10 years ago. I later found out someone had been killed in my apartment building 5 years earlier. I didn't know they hung around that long.

Not actually met....But a long time ago this little boy poked his head through my wall and waved at me...I'm guessing he wasm a ghost. Anyways, I don't live there any more, thank God! The house was haunted, and not all the spirits were as nice as him...email me if ya want details...

the house i grew up in was haunted by a little girl and a nun one night i was in bed when the room went freezing cold my clock started ticking very fast i dived under the covers felt for the light switch switched the light on and stayed under the covers all night i dont know witch one came into the room and i did not want to know

Yeah i have, a load of us all saw the same thing at Bolsterstone Graveyard. A prominent white figure seemed to be floating towards the path, we all legged it!

I thought I did once at my dad's house in Florida. Turns out it was just my own reflection in his big screen TV. Scared the bejingles out of me.
