sometimes they , can, but it helps more to get to the root of your unhappiness...
pick up the book,WHITE OLEANDER read the part about claire.she's suicidle,so her husband,decides to take in a foster child, to cheer her up and do suicide watch.even though claire had a child to brighten up her day, she was still unhappy and killed her self.
Children are cute and lovable , and always seem to know when your upset, and try to make you happier,but sometimes, a cute kid just isn't enough.

yes, obviously a kid can get all the happiness and sometimes it is the kid that gets the husband and wife closer

It will, if you're aware of what your're doing and don't see them as toys. Haveing a child is not for you own entertainment. Unfortunately I see parents again and again who have a children for the wrong reason. They want attention.
For personal happyness there nobody else responsible than YOU.

i see a lot of people having kids when their not ready, especially when their really young. most young people that i see are lost in life and they think a lovely little marriage and a couple of kids will fix it, "a baby will fix everything" they say to themselves. but if they're not ready they owe it to themselves and their future kids to wait. there's no hurry.

if not a kid....... then what else....... if you are not going to be happy with the purest thing...... then what else will make you happy..... i feel proud of having been a kid...... and having a kid!!!!!!
