In college for under graduate, you can major in just about anything. While in undergrad, find employment at an investment banking firm as a clerk. This will give you some exposure what an investment banker does.

The four top business schools are Harvard, Dartmounth, Wharton and University of Chicago.

It take about 24 months to complete an MBA.

Good luck.

You seem to have picked a company before you decided what they do?

It is good the go to school for something that is "useful" to the bank. A science or mathematical degree (an undergrad in chemistry could help you do research on chemical companies).

You should also go to b-school. If you do not, you will not get very far in the top schools. Not that you learn that much in the classes, it is just a way to prove yourself and the people that will be doing the hiring have MBA's, so they will expect you to have one too.

Go to a top 8 school (they are all about the same) or top 15 (again 9-15 are all about the same). Better the school, better your chances (one exception is NYU, it is top 15, but with NYC companies, it is treated as a top 8 since there are so many of NYU grads in these companies)

investment banker does and has to do math, till you are the money throwing darts to verify which one to speculate in. yet maximum individuals won't use then you definitely. ideal to locate yet another activity.
