myspace is a DANGEROUS website??because every computer in my school has restricted myspace on It...and they said that it is very DANGEROUS...do you think so?

I DONT think its dangerous. I mean a school can still ban it just in case, but really it's not. I have a myspace my friends have myspaces and as long as you're careful it cant harm you. I have a private myspace so not EVERYONE can look at it. Only my friends that I approved to look at it, of course if you let anybody be your friend then it defeats the purpose. Thats why schools ban it, because they cant monitor what everone is doing on myspace at one time so they just ban it.

myspace is restricted in many schools and place of work because it is considered to be the cause of hours of idleness on the computer. it is not really a dangerous website. it may be dangerous for minors because it may be a place for pedophiles to prowl.

I personally think MySpace just sucks. I think every website like that (360 included) can be dangerous and more so addictive.

It's too much of a fad right now. You have to wait until someone sets up a disrespectful page for someone that's dead or hated. Like a Hitler page or an aborted baby. Then like usual the government will step in and shut it down.

depends how u use the myspace, if you say your email address on there, and address or phone number, then it would be dangerous, so i would suggest having a private profile if someone got on.

it can be if you talk to a bunch of people you don't know...the schools have probably restricted it because of the things that were happening like a year ago with the men on there saying they were young boys and trying to meet up with the girls to rape them. it just depends on how naive you are i guess..

Well, my law instructor tried to look up "Roe v. Wade" in the school computer and it was restricted. Is that DANGEROUS?

IF it was dangerous it wouldn't be one of the most popular websites on the web. They prob meant that it can be dangerous if you are not careful who your friends are there are alot of sickos out there who are child molesters and rapists so be careful who you think you are chatting with.

Never been there. I knew it from the Dr. Phil show when that woman posted her photo there and her "future" husband was pissed off by that.. blah blah..
anyway, there is a thousand dozens of alternatives.
