I go to bed and sleep over it. If I'm not rejuvenated, I read a book, watch TV or go online, anything to keep off doing my duty. Then after sometime, I realize that I got to do my job at some point or the other... If the will to regain momentum comes back, so does the motivation... so in my opinion, if you can want to stay motivated enough, you probably will.

If that spark still doesn't come, have a good look at your friends and peers, watch how they progress, think of how much better than you they'll become soon, as you remain sitting in your pit. Then comes the slight fear, that everyone you know will then look down on you. You'll be left behind in the dust as your friends speed away, with nothing left, if you don't buck up soon. That's what I think about. Good luck!!

Well, first you have to build up your confidence by not taking yourself to seriously. When I feel like I'm losing motivation it's because I'm over thinking and taking everything to heart. It really wears you out after a while.
The next time you're home alone, drink a red bull turn on some music and dance and sing as loud and as hard as you can. Once you're thoroughly exhausted, take a deep breath, look at yourself in the mirror and laugh at how sweaty and ridiculous you are. Then cook yourself dinner. Congratulate yourself out loud for cooking dinner instead of going out or ordering in. Slowly but surely keep on doing small everyday tasks until you feel you can handle larger things.

You're well on your way to being motivated...

Seek inspiration, thats a better concept then motivation. Look up the words to find the subtle difference in meaning if you must.

hum thats a hard one ,..... may be try the ' do something nice for some one else every day ' thing and you could try the old do something you like for you every day too. good luck I have the same problem I think what happens to us is well baad things along the line and then we dont really get over it we get used to it and then comes the bummer.. well try to get happy again. you can try 'fake it till you make it' I think they say that in AA I just heard it some where and thought it was a good one.

My parents taught me to stay motivated. Always do extra credit was the lesson I learned in 7th grade. My parents expected me to, my teachers expected me to. Now it is ingrained.
