about 5 years ago i went to a psychic - as i was less sceptical at the time - he was recommeded by a relative.
in the course of this consultation he managed to quite easily bring up the name of someone i knew and had been thinking about recently.
it was quite a rare name too, not like john or dave etc. i hadnt mentioned the name earlier even for weeks, months.
is there a way to achieve this with trickery/magic or even hypnosis.
although i dont think i was hypnotised at any point as the session wasnt v long and there would not have been time.

ps - he only mentioned the one name, no other guesses, the odds are too amazing for it just to be chance.

nope the name mentioned was totally unconnected in any way.
the other relative didnt know this person, this person was not even in the country for 2+ years.
never written down, hardly ever spoken.

Maybe from something your relative mentioned tothe psychic inadvertently.

If this person was recommended by a relative the chances are they managed to gain the name through subtle questioning of that relative. Chances are the relative wouldn't even remember mentioning it in passing.
