I need to know what public schools are nationally ranked in terms of excellence.

I live in Vermont and my high school just had crediters come by to credit our school. It is a pretty awesome place.

I know Texas public schools outside of the major cities (like not Dallas city/county - but districts like Plano, Rockwall, and outlaying districts) are held in high regards....but I don't know if they are the best in the nation. In Texas, they are called Blue Ribbon schools, but in Missouri, where I am now at, they have other ranking systems.
