It's called a crinolin. I know that Bridal Shops sell the fluffy slippy things that make wedding dresses have more volume. I got mine at David's Bridal: http://www.davidsbridal.com/index.jsp
And here is a picture of a crinolin I found on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/EXTRA-FULL-BRIDAL-CRINOLIN-SLIP-FOR-ADDED-FULLNESS_W0QQitemZ280096918685QQcategoryZ63851QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Peace!

The only thing I can think of is crinoline or tafetta. You can go to a fabric store to get some. You can sew a basic skirt with it if all you're doing is wearing it under a dress.

A crinoline (sp?) half slip is what I wore under my prom dress and wedding gown. Try a local bridal shop.

They're called a slip. You can buy or rent one. They are white and have layers of netting in the the middle.

It's a slip and if they're not sold where you bought your dress from you might try a bridal store.

it is not something i'd placed on (in simple terms no longer my type), although that is truly a beneficial gown. i'd bypass with something greater formal in my view, yet once you like it i'd say roll with it! :)
