I'm a little confused right now, I last had sex on Feb. 26th; Didn't notice any spotting or anything since then (implantation bleeding). I ovulated last week of friday and saturday. Last night, I was up all night throwing up. I never throw up! To make matters worse, I have a horrible UTI, so if I went out and got a test, would the UTI/meds affect the results? Help!

The UTI/meds wont effect the test. As long as you are late on your period, they should be very accurate. Wait until moring though. with the UTI and frequent bathroom trips, the hCG will be at its highest when you first wake up.

If you get a reading that is off or not what you think it should be (or want it to be) retest in a few days when your UTI is better. This will be sure that your hCG levels are not as consentrated from the frequent potty trips GOOD LUCK!

It definitely sounds like you could be pregnant. Throwing up (morning sickness) is a big sign and my doctor also told me that UTI's are common during pregnancy. Are your breasts sore? That one's another major sign. I'm not sure if the UTI would affect test results. If I was you, I would get a blood test done just in case, it's more accurate than the pee test anyways. Goodluck w/ getting whatever result you're hoping for!

If you had sex on feb 26th and ovulated last week, your chances of being pregnant are pretty low. Are you sure you ovulated last week? How do you know that?
I think the most important question is: When is your period due? If you're late, get a pregnancy test and yes, wait til morning because your hormone levels will be higher. If you're not late, wait until you are.

I would go ahead and buy a test, just not a real expensive one. With both of my kids I used the Walmart brand test that came in a pack of two for like six bucks and I also got one from the dollar store for a dollar and it worked also. Good luck!

Go to the dollar store and buy a test. They are just as good and cheaper.
The meds wouldn't affect the test. You'll never know until you test. Good luck

I don't think the meds will affect anything and yes buy a test, it sounds like a good plan.

You probably just have the flu. A UTI would not affect the test.
