I LOVE to design dresses just for fun but now I designed somethings that I really want to design but the catch is ....... I'm not exactly sure how to do that! Where to start, tips, things to be aware of and more!!!!

If you're planning on making the dress the first question is, can you sew? If you don't sew, you should take a sewing class. A good class should teach you how to use a commercial pattern, basic sewing, and knowledge of fabrics. You need to know which fabrics drape and which have more body. The way a fabric drapes is called its "hand". You need to know when to cut a fabric on the bias so that it will flow the way you see it in your design. You need to know how to take a flat piece of fabric and make it fit a person . This is done by darts, tucks, etc.
If you don't sew, take a sewing class. Some sewing centers offer them but a good place is community college adult noncredit classes. Without good sewing skills it'll be hard to make your designs come true :-)

I'm not sure how to explain designing clothes but I have heard of really good classes to help you learn how. Also, working at a clothing design workplace could be helpful.
