...and what are you thinking?

What usually wakes me up is the part I can't handle . In my case this means that when I am shouting for some loved one to stop, or screaming for some reason, I am actually trying to use my vocal chords to that effect whilst still asleep. Don't know whether it is the psychological pressure of not being having been able to make myself heard, or the strain of using the muscles in neck and jaw, but that's when I always wake up.
How do I feel? Well bad dreams don't tend to scare me. Rather I think "Wow! Someone ought to make a film of that! It was mind-blowing!"

I used to have bad dreams and someone taught me to look at the back of my hand in the dream when I wanted to leave. It really does work. If I do, I wake up every time.

When I have a bad dream and I wake up, my eyes just open so suddenly and I find myself sweating.

This happened this morning, I don't really remember what I was dreaming about but I vaguely remember the destruction of the world or something. I don't know. This just scared me because I'm a very positive person.

I wake up and turn on the light. I instinctively wake up and as most bad dreams leave people, I feel all sweaty and what not. Havn't had one in a year or so.

Used to have a lot of nightmares, but few now. Wake up frightened and wondering what is going on. Them slowly realise that everthing is ok, Feel great relief and go back to sleep.

I haven't had a nightmare for a long time, but sometimes my covers get up over my head. I feel like I'm suffocating. One time I was half asleep and half awake and I heard myself screaming and rolling around trying to get the covers off. When I got them off I fell off the bed and pushed myself away from it. I woke up breathing really hard and sweating like no other.
