Not passe. This just says it is a cliche or a bunch of words and that all will dissappear from our language once it becomes 'uncool' . Reality bites ! This is what is happening as we exchange question or answer in Yahoo. This is what is happening while it becomes so uncool to talk about it.

Language and fashion are not the way nature works. Ask the people in Florida.

Well how many killer heat waves passed your last summer?

Already this winter Dec - Feb was the warmest on record.

So um when the heat waves pass your way again this summer only up a few more degrees and you start to feel the heat on the other end of your body having your heand buried deep in the sand, maybe you will begin to get the point.
