Mine did. The capital of Oregon was Oregon city, it is now Salem.

Connecticut's capital use to be New Haven, back during the colonial days, and now it is Hartford, so I guess it can be done. Can't even begin to imagine all of the red tape that would be involved now a days however!

Yes, although it is a long drawn-out affair, it can be done. It must be put before the citizens in the form of a vote if I'm not mistaken. Hope I helped. God Bless !!
