I would be retiring next year. What should I do to find an alternate career?

I have energy and do not wish to remain idle. I want to share my knowledge. I would like to keep earning some thing.

That depends on what you want to do. Do you want to continue working in the same field you're in now, or try something different? There may be part-time or flex hours work available at your current company.

You may also want to apply with a temporary employment agency which can assign you to different part-time jobs so you can see what's out there and what you might enjoy doing.
