It has to be one of these two, all of the other candidates are liberals or RINO's. I read an article yesterday that said Democrats feared it if Fred Thompsom were to run because they know he could win with a solid conservative base. What's you take. Liberals, feel free to embarrass yourselves here.

I love Fred Thompson and all that he stands for on the political platform! I hope to God that he runs and that he announces his candidacy at the perfect moment! Go Fred, Go!

Newt has never impressed me. I think it was his approach and way of conveying his message -- it just didn't go over well with the people.

I really like Fred Thompson... until I heard his name thrown around for 08 I wasn't too excited about any of the conservative candidates.

Fred Thompson, I think the American public trust him more and he has a higher public profile. . GIngrich has too much negative history around him.

Newt - At a time when he was beating the drum of moral character and demanding the oust of Clinton, he too was having an affair. Not presidential material, the republicans taught me that.

Fred Thompson, too friendly with bush.

Hagel has a better chance than either of the two you site.

NG has too much personal baggage for me. (Yes, I think that character still counts for a lot!)

I like Fred Thompson, but I like Ron Paul more.
