Liberals will often attack the messenger when they have no good response to an argument. Hence the name calling and intelligence questioning.
Regarding education, this is how liberals control future generations, by indoctrinating them. They have succeeded and continue to. Our educational system is failing. Standardized test scores continue to fall despite the fact that the tests are dumbed down every couple of years. Incoming college freshmen need more and more remedial help to get them up to speed. The US ranks near the bottom of the industrialized world in testing on core subjects. Our students know how to put a condom on a cucumber and that mary has two mommies but not much about math and science. The solution, we are told, is to dump more money into the money pit of public education. We know this is doomed to fail. We know money is not the solution. When you compare dollars spent on public, private and homeschooled kids. The students who have the least spent on them (homeschoolers) do the best in testing, the next least spent is on private schoolers and they come in second, followed by public schooled kids who get more money spent on them and have the worst performance. But, they will question my education (JD degree) and my intelligence because they have no facts to contradict what I say.

#1 They attack the educations of those they consider consevative. Example would be GWB who is highly educated.
I am not a fan of GWB but you cannot scoff at his education.
Yes he went to Yale and Yale is a fabulous place for an education particularly if one aspires to be president. However, didn't Daddy pay to get him in?
#2 They claim if you are of the Christian faith you are uneducated.
Says who, many people are against the theory of Creationism being taught without the theory of Evolution beside it. Both are theories, both should be taught.
#3 If you have an opion opposed to thier own you are uneducated even though you can quote facts defending your opinion.
First of all there honestly is no such thing as fact (hence why in science you have theories, etc). Second anyone who has a basic understanding of statistics know that those numbers are easily manipulatable and it is easy to adjust your numbers to any ideology.
#4 They think that a public school education and a liberal college indoctronation make them the smartest people in the room. (I would say mindless unthinking repeaters of marxism.)
Wait, isn't that what President Bush had? Beyond that people pick and choose the courses they take in college, not many take Marxist theory these days (did I mention the cold war is over?)
#5 They think that giving endless amounts of taxpayer money to failing schools will give kids a better education. The fact is that log cabin schools of the 1800's with no budget or computers produced some of America's greatist thinkers who could even add and subtract before they graduated. Go figure, education my be about hard work not about a school budget for teacher union benifits.
Would be hard to fit a computer lab in a log cabin. The world has changed significantly since then. As for the budget going to the teacher union, I challenge you to teach for 1 year. See what really goes on and then be critical. You obviously have no idea of what it means to be a teacher in this world. Yes I absolutely agree the education system is flawed, but propose a real solution.

#1-- they attack people who have delusions and base life decisions on a 2000 year old book . Regardless of the education Bush got he is still delusional and prayed .
I can not stress enough to you that prayer and religion are nothing more then mythology and a lack of education .
#2 -- re-read #1 .
#3 -- Two sides to every coin in an argument but facts remain facts .
The fact is that a tiny amount WMD's where found in Iraq . That the terrorists came from Saudi Arabia .
Do you deny this .
If you do then you are delusional and uneducated .
#4 -- Do some reading and fact finding before you go around calling liberals Marxists http://youtube.com/watch?v=vDwPjVrshWg
#5 -- Without an education you follow and do not lead .
I will agree that working leads to learning of that job and the required skills to accomplish it ,which in turn my lead to improvements .
The working class people make all the buildings homes and items contained in them . Yet receive little of the true benefit that it is to mankind .
The 5000 men who built the hoover damn do not profit from it today . Here's who does
Arizona - 18.9527 percent
Nevada - 23.3706 percent
Metropolitan Water District of Southern California - 28.5393 percent
Burbank, CA - 0.5876 percent
Glendale, CA - 1.5874 percent
Pasadena, CA - 1.3629 percent
Los Angeles, CA - 15.4229 percent
Southern California Edison Co. - 5.5377 percent
Azusa, CA - 0.1104 percent
Anaheim, CA - 1.1487 percent
Banning, CA - 0.0442 percent
Colton, CA - 0.0884 percent
Riverside, CA - 0.8615 percent
Vernon, CA - 0.6185 percent
Boulder City, NV - 1.7672 percent
Notice nearly 30% goes to the water district of southern California . http://www.mwdh2o.com/
Look at the people on the board of directors . They fund pet projects out of the funds they receive .
All this money pilled up because 5000 men busted their Butt's building a dam and got a mere 25 dollars a week and today it takes in several billion in revenue .
Good deal forcing the true workers of this nation to slave away for little to no compensation for the work they have done .
You are truly uneducated and will never be a match for an educated liberal . Cause after you become educated you see how foolish Ideas like God And country are used to manipulate the people . To steal the true worth of their work .
Some one needs to defend and help these people receive what they deserve .
Its alot more then they have been getting . Minimum wage which I hate should be at 25 dollars an hour .
If we are going to have a minimum wage then it needs to cover the cost of a home a car the bills and some entertainment .
Hard working people deserve a life while paper pushing bureaucrats deserve a swift kick in the **** .

So, you really believe that Bush went to Yale and Harvard and actually passed?
HA!!!
Daddy got him into college and, being a very rich alumnae himself, made darn sure that Bushie boy was give passing grades.
Bush is as dumb as a box of rocks. He frittered away any opportunity his wealth might have offered him by drinking, coking, dodging the draft and being Daddy and Mommy's bad boy. They bailed him out of everything in his life. He always got his way, never was called to be responsible for his actions and let others clean up his messes.
That's what will happen when he leaves office. He has made a terrible economic mess, embroiled us in an illegal war and will walk away from it and let somebody else clean it up.
And, by the way, the more educated a person is, the less they slavishly follow the precepts of religion (opiate of the masses), don't take others opinions for their own (they actually read, study and form their own opinions based on fact). They encourage their childred to do well in public (or any) school while being involved in that education.
Well educated and intelligent people would never fall for Marxism, Communism or any of the other "isms". They are fully plugged in to the reality of the world around them and the people in that world.
They respect other peoples viewpoint but can disagree. They love to debate with intelligent people and find ignorant dolts hard to understand.

Why are neocons always trying to destroy education?
#1 GWB's education record is a fallacy just like his glorious Vietnam War record.
#2 I am a lib and a Christian, why would I say this? You are making things up just like GWB.
#3 Quoting propaganda is not quoting facts.
#4 I'll take the public school educated over the uneducated brainwashed spoonfed fascist propaganda spouting neocon loons anyday.
#5 Giving enough money to our schools is not endless amounts. It is better to put the money towards education than into GWB's buddies pockets. As for teachers pay, they deserve to make a living as much as anyone.
Now, to you. you think because you are in 10th grade, you know it all? You know nothing. The first thing you need to learn is a little humility. Then you need to learn a little compassion and empathy. With these things, you will be on the road to bring a true Christian. You should read your new testiment, not beat other people over the head with it. In this way you will become a follower of Christ instead of just another Pharisee.

Please consider the FACT that, in general, the school systems that receive the greatest amount of MONEY have the WORST scholastic standards.
WHY? Simply enough, they are run by those who want to use the schools as a POLITICAL INDOCTRINATION system rather than for its proper function of teaching young people the information they need to progress in today's world and teach the basics of how to reach conclusions based on TRUTH.
They waste the students time with expensive activities that only indoctrinate them into the typical liberal educator's views.
(Note what political party is supported by most teachers.)
I guess that is why teachers have a Liberal Arts degree - very rarely a degree in science, engineering, or anything that can be substantiated as FACT.
In addition, have you noted that school tax issues always show up on ballots presented in "off elections" when voter turn-out will be low? They know that is their best chance to push through their tax increases.
ALWAYS vote in ALL elections.

Fact: N.E.A. has a Budget of millions to use as a Lobbying tool in Washington D.C.; that all teachers must join the Union even though they might not believe in their actions. It is also a know fact that the majority of all Teachers or Educators, are in the Liberal category. And if you don't think they transfer their ideals to the students, you really are just drinking Kool-Aid, or visiting Jupiter !! Home Schooling is popular to the point that the N.E.A. spends $$$$ like crazy to stop anything that opposes their agenda................Liberalism !! God Bless our Children !!

#1 Why do you include all liberals in a huge sweeping generalization?
#2 How can you assume that GWB was held to the same standards as average students in his school and not given special treatment?
#3 Better pay for teachers and more money to schools will, A) attract more top minds to the teaching career, and B) provide better oppurtunities and environments for children to learn.
If you Disagree then go ahead and send your kids to a log cabin in the woods somewhere and let me know how that works for you.
#4 I don't think your uneducated and I don't think christianity means people are ignorant. HOWEVER, I do feel people that claim to believe in god often do not act like they do. If i honestly thought I would go to hell for sinning where i'd be tortured horribly for all eternity... You better believe I wouldn't sin. People say it's bad for me to be an atheist. I'd say it's still better than being a hypocrite.
#5 I respect your opinion But yeah, Im gonna hafta disagree.

All you have to do is look at the Department of Education budget when Democrats are in control, vs the budget when Republicans are in control.
The last Democrat Congress CUT education funding 16%.
Since the Department of Education was formed,
Average funding increase Democrat Congress's - 3.3%
Average funding increase Republican Congress's -14.9%
Clinton education funding from 32.3 billion when he took office to 38.4 billion when he left office. Thats a 18% increase over 8 years.
Bush education funding from 38.4 billion when he took office to 88.8 billion in 2006, Thats a 131% increase in just 6 years.
