RE:
How much is a 10 pence worth in American money?

Right now the rate is about $2.00 to each Pound. It goes up and down a bit but that is the way to think of it. So 10 pence is 20 cents. But if it was say a 10 pound note once you converted it to dollars, take off the exchange fee and then you might only have $18 instead of $20.

The other answer that said that pence has not been used in decades? Weird. Anybody who reads, watches the news, movies, reads the paper, looks up the answer on the net or anything would just begin to realize that was false.

Sounds like somebody who lives in the hills and is 12.

None of these are old enough to carry much of a premium value. The "gold" is brass just like the Presidential and Sacagawea dollars, and the "silver" is copper-nickel just like modern quarters and dimes. You cannot exchange foreign coins for US dollars, but you might be able to sell them to a coin dealer. I hope that helps.

If it is a current UK 10p coin it's worth 19.5 US cents. But if it's an old 10p coin (1992 or before) then it has no monetary value because the old coins were demonetized in 1993.

considering the a pence is a tiny portion of a pound, I'd say...not much. (Actually 150 pence = 1.50£ = 2.94$US)
