well i dont go to work because of the people so if it wasnt for the money why? So be honest maybe they will make you an offer to match

Simply say you are leaving your current job to pursue a better career opportunity.

A better opportunity means many different things to many people, so this is an easy way out if you are not comfortable stating its all about money.

Thank him for the job that he has provided you with. Then just tell the truth. I've been offered a better position. That's it. Do not burn that bridge. You never know when you will have to cross it again.

You can always say you're looking for more opportunity for advancement. Sort of says the same thing, but sounds better I suppose.
