The biggest problem is your own fear of the job interview.

As a manager, I'm looking for an employee who is qualified to do the job, and will be an asset to my department. This is your chance to show me that you're not some nutcase that's going to be a headache to deal with. The rest is just making sure that you have the skills I need or require very little training to do the job.

View the interview as an opportunity and not as a threat. I'm hoping you're the person I'm going to hire and not the person I don't want to hire. You may or may not get the job, but only one person is going to get the job, so relax and never count on any interview as being your only chance to find work!

Not so bad if you are prepared. A crisp looking resume, (with proper capitalization) shined shoes, haircut, clean nails, pressed clothing and a necktie. Be prepared to answer questions about your successes and shortcomings. Find out as much as you can about the company you are interviewing with and tell them the benefit that will come their way if they hire you. No benefit = No reason to hire. Being prepared will give give you confidence. Confidence builds enthusiasm. Enthusiasm wins. Good luck.
