The problem is what to do with the people that get in the way .
You know the slow inept people that we have millions of .
I ran a crew of installers 20 years ago and some people are to stupid to do the job right creating more problems because of the effort to repair relocate or replace what idiots have damaged .
So if we could test and determine what people where suited for and acknowledge that people like Paris Hilton are just sex toys and we legalize the sex trade then we could reach full employment .
Others would just be allowed to do whatever as long as they stayed out of the way . We give them a house and car and food and spending money and everything would be great .

Utopian, Star Trek like society is not possible with humans. It is perfect in theory but can never work because power corrupts and we are not naturally altruistic.

Right. Look how well it worked in the former USSR. Standing in line for hours for toilet paper... or bread... or what ever the Government was giving out that day.

And look at those fun loving cats in China and N. Korea. Lots of smiling faces there.

Yeah, like everyone's going to work their hardest when they know they'll get an equal share no matter how much they do.

May I introduce you to something called the real world?

No, there is no incentive to work your hardest if you have no personal gain attached.

I work my butt off so that my neighbor who is lazy can still feed his family? I don't think so. That is why Communism is failing all over the world.

That would be great, but the politicos don't work. They just take all the money, and return little or none to the people who earn it.
